Stock Rim advice

I have a 2014 m5 with the black 343m's... 2 rims are curbed and need to be fixed. I was thinking while I get that done to also do an alpine white time attack stripe around the edge of the rim. Anyone done this? Any advice? Does it look too tacky or would it look good. Keep in mind all the accents on my car are black

I paint them black and leave the time attack ring out. Its out of style IMO.

Here's the turn out....so far I'm happy with it. It gives the m5 kind of a different look but I can rock it for a few months.
