The guys at Velos are THE best!! Just finished an X5M build with them. They made and beast a MONSTER!
I highly recommend them to anyone wanting a quality product and excellent customer service.

Thats pretty meh, unless its pretty tight from factory, +80hp is what.. 1psi and optimized afrs and advanced timing?
Throw on a turbo back and up the boooooost! Even n54's are hitting 450-500whp and they're a much smaller 6 with much smaller turbos! |

After seeing posts of how the stock engine was underrated from BMW earlier...
I wonder if aftermarket tunes really work? Or are the results manipulated with different gearing?

I think there is serious potential on this motor.
Gains on X5M are around 80whp and 120 wheel torque. If you look at the factory dyno graphs of a stock F10 M5, the torque drops off considerably at high RPM. I think it's pretty limited by the factory calibration and that it's only a matter of time until aftermarket software with massive gains will surface. |
