Which wheels?

Getting ready to order 2015 M5. Can't decide on wheels. The 20" 5 spoke or the ones that come with the competition package. I thought I read the 5 spoke were forged but the ones with the comp package were not. Opinions? Thoughts?

343M is forged, but 601M is not
The set of 343M is over 20lb lighter...

5lb per corner of unspuing weight. Some will tell you it makes a huge difference. I'll tell you you'll never know unless you track it and even then I question whether it's discernible. Buy on looks preference.

Design wise, my eye gravitates to the 601's. But I would purchase on the the looks and color over forged/non-forged. As previously stated, you're not gonna feel the difference.

I also like the 601's. I am going with Pure Metal Silver on the paint. I am leaning towards the 343's for the car.

In that case, I'd go with the BLACK 343's.

Exactly, this is a pig of a car in weight, not exactly a track car.

Looking forward to it; having been waiting for a board member to get PSM! Oh, and I'd also opt for forged 343s over 601s if you drive on anything but smooth road surfaces - std or black finish with PSM is down to personal taste.

I went with 343's. I like the style better so the lighter weight was just a bonus! Get what you think looks best.
