Wow - how does the car like 30psi so low in the rpm range?

This curve seems more normal with power peaking at 5.5K.

Good work!

Garage List
Very similar to the other m5 numbers, minus over 100 tq.
What was different in the build to get almost 950tq?

Thanks and Congrats.

They are insanely impressive. Impressive enough that if Lalit@AUTOcouture can back them up with runs/ box data I'd go buy a used 2012 with 50k+ miles and let him go to town on it lol

Lalit@AUTOcouture again forgive me for my cautious optimism... And I hate going into each of these "record setting" dyno threads and saying where is the data... But can we please please please get some verifiable data lol... I'm not sure those MPSS would hold at 900wtrq even from say a 60 roll lol He's defiantly gonna need some R888s/Cup2s just for rolls..

Congratulations if this is 100% true, and its amazing for the platform given how long the AMG boys with their renntech turbo upgrades, and RS7 with their upgrades have been able to poke at the M boys... No longer is that the case [if true]

Insane power numbers! Can't wait to see some vbox/track times!

Crazy how much torque these motors can make and how fast it ramps in; then hold together on a stock motor. My 996TT on stock motor made 868rwhp/710 and my brothers 997TT (took my stock number record for watercooled) makes 897rwhp/720ish. Anymore torque on stock flat motor the rods go bye bye lol. Congrats again!

Peaking at <5500rpm normal? Stock engine peaks between 6000-7000rpm.

Not at this power level on stock turbines. It will peak between 5.3K and 5.8K at the 800whp level.

You can't compare a stock motor making 550whp and expect it to have the same curve at 800+ whp.

That's correct - the torque number on this particular dyno is pushing it. The real trick to performance is raising or sustaining power from 5K onwards which will provide better 1/4 mile and 60-130 times.
