Parts you wish existed (besides a real ECU tune )

Maybe with enough interest we could get something made up.

I will start...

- 100% aluminum shift paddles with etched +/- symbols (similar to X5M or AMG paddles)

Might be worth a shot to see if the X5M paddles can be retrofitted to the M5.

Cup holders to paddles

So.. what else?

+1 on the paddle shifters. Except I want Paddle Shifters that have lighted + and - symbols on the paddles like the E60 M5.

Speed Limiter removed.

Window Tint that was user selectable. Dark when you want it to be and light when you don't.

Sway Bars like RDSport Sway Bars for the E60 M5 that include 3 different settings.

5.0L Stroker engine

Bigger Turbos

A Carbon Fiber Roof that keeps the sunroof

An Actively Aerodynamic Front Splitter that extends depending on speed like the new 991 911 Turbo S Front Splitter.

Lighter yet a sporty and comfortable front seats.

A 6.0L V12 developed by ///M.

That's about it for now.

Yeah I agree on the lighted paddles. But figured just aluminum paddles was more feasible to created. Lighted aluminum shift paddles would be perfect.

Did you notice DINAN came out with front and rear sways?

Damn. I just looked at Dinans website. Those sway bars look absolutely awesome. But the price, holy moly! You can order both the front and rear Comp Pack Sway Bars for just the price of the front Dinan Sway Bar. But, the Dinan looks far superior to the Comp Pack. What a conundrum. I really wish you hadn't told me about the Dinan Bars dude. LOL!

Haha, yeah they look good. Did you check the photos tab? They show the entire kit.
I thought the same.. pricey but look superior to CP sways as DINAN is adjustable.

And your telling me.. I have a partial CP suspension kit in my garage. Waiting on the other parts, but now I may just get the DINAN kit.

+1

Also, I hate how when I go from S mode to D mode, it always goes to D1 mode. I wish it remembered the last D mode setting I had before I went to S mode. Annoying.

The moving tachometer redline that increases as the engine warms up. Compass in the rear view mirror. Had both in my E92 M3, why not the M5?

And NEVER have the car start out in 2nd gear from a stop, I hate it. As if that could ever make a real difference in gas mileage - it's just dumb and annoying, especially in a performance car.

I love the new LCI wheel with the paddle shifters I would not trade them for the m3 or x6m paddle shifters. it is black with Silver Aluminum.

Yeah I like the LCI paddles better than the non-LCI, however I like the X5M paddles the most as they are full aluminum.

They made aftermarket paddles for the M3 DCT (which looked terrible.. rice paddles), so I think we could get some nice aluminum paddles made. Just need to find someone with a FlowJet!

This is what the M6 paddles look like. Someone could conserve the base for the electronics and make the same ones in aluminum but with a longer (taller) design for the paddles.

Pic from this thread, a forum member actually has the OEM M6 ones for sale: here.

V12, these won't fit the Pre-LCI F10 M5 steering wheel right??
