Thanks guys. I must say, the Pre-LCI looks pretty good as I thought they were upgraded by the previous owner. Car has executive package and LCI kidneys.

Yes the new OEM lci adaptive LEDS require a harness, new module, programming, and etc. The full conversion package is 5300 give or take.

What I was referring too was if u wanted the look of LCI adaptive LEDS one eighty shop sells a replica version that fits the 2013s without all that extra stuff as its catered specific for the 2013 harness. An example is illicitm5 rose black wrap in matte on IG he has those replica version headlights and his is a 2013 located in NYC.

If you don't get the Exec pkg, you will not get the LED square-ish headlights. You'll get the round angel eyes.

Definitely get the exec package. Vent and active seats + hud + LED headlights are so worth. I personally would get the full leather on top and call it a day but that's a personal call.

I have these lights on my 2014, anyone think the LED headlights are easily retrofitted?

Not that easy I'm afraid. You'll need harness modifications, LED headlights + all LED modules (4 per headlight if memory serves me right) + coding.

Since you have a LCI car, I'm guessing you won't have to change your gateway and light modules, but not 100% sure on that.

I can dig through some old e-mails to give you the exact part numbers if you'd like, the grand total was a bit over 5500 euro for me.

Thanks for the info, looks like a big investment, but if you could send those part numbers that would be great.

I have 2014 LCI M5 with Xenon adaptive and thinking about to convert to LED. I found this one on ebay claiming it is a complete set. Does anyone know the ebay listing comes with everything like module, control unit etc (Just need coding and swap it?) If not, Does Nikolov's parts list below will be what i need for conversion? (But He got the Pre-LCI version)

Thanks.

Definitely doesn't include the modules (gateway/light module). Probably includes all LED modules for the headlights though (each light is a separate module - low, high, corner, turn signal etc.).

I bought an equipped set of headlights as well and that's what they came with.

Seller replied back to me said it came with all the modules and the only thing I need is FRM and coding. For FRM (Footwell module?), do i need left and right on each side? The seller is from Germany and the headlights is Europe model i believe, any idea it would work for my 2014 LCI USA model?

Do you think the parts you list below are completed for LED retrofit and will on my 2014 LCI as well?

FRM3 - 61359383692

The car only has one FRM. I'm guessing the headlights should work, I don't think there's any difference between EU and US. You are going to need some modification to the harness and coding.

Whoever is going to code your car can probably tell you the correct part # for the FRM (or if you need a FRM at all).

I found another one https://*****/product/bmw-5-m5-serie...ed-headlights/ and they said it is complete set and just need to get FRM to complete the install for my 2014 LCI US version. Any idea if FRM would be all i need to retrofit or need other parts as well?

He also mentioned that it is a OEM Hella... is it different than BMW OEM LED?

It is, but then again Umnitza's product is not the OEM headlight.

I believe Hella makes the OEM LED headlights, you could ask for a picture from the side, there's a "BMW Adaptive LED" sign there.

I did ask but the side of the LED is "Hella Adaptive LED" sign instead of "BMW Adaptive LED" there. It is half the price then BMW parts and he claims it is 100% OEM Hella made for BMW parts.

Can you share where did you get the set of LED headlights and all of the required modules?

I bought my headlights from a website that's no longer selling them. They weren't exactly cheap (3500GBP), just a bit below the pricing I got from my dealership with a 10% discount.

I would go for OEM headlights mainly because when the time comes to sell, someone might argue the headlights are not OEM (even though they're probably identical). The first ad that you had posted was for a fully equipped set of headlights - you can go for that.

You can buy the FRM (assuming you need one) from your local BMW dealership, it's not that expensive.

My advise is to first find the person who's going to code your car and the changes necessary to the wiring harness. I used bimmer-tech.net (not an endorsement, just sharing experience) for both - they provided the wiring schematics and remote coding for a reasonable amount. They can also tell you whether you need a new FRM or not.
