Btw, the last pic for the product on amazon is cringeworthy. Shoes dropping in wet mud scraping against the seat. Ughhhhhhh!

I ordered these and got them last night. They fit great! The upper part just fits around the posts of the headrest when it's totally raised up. Then I lowered it back down and the strap is compressed between the headrest and seat. The bottom part *just* makes it around the bottom of the seat, and the strap sits in the crack between the back and bottom of the seat. The straps are soft stretchy material and don't seem to rub badly on the leather. The mat is heavy duty stuff but I agree I don't intend to see that kind of mud on the car. If I pickup my daughter and she has that on her feet we're calling an uber

Thanks for the tip Mbdurham17!

These are great suggestions. Definitely will be buying both. I'll be a new dad in about 2 months...any other "kid proofing" you guys would suggest?

No problem! Btw if you adjust the headrest strap to the longest setting it lets it drop down a bit it protects the lower part of the seat a bit more and fits a little better up top
