Best way to jack up F10 sedan?
With no good way to put a jack stand on the rear of our F10 M5, I decided to try a couple of these Rennstand's by Safejack. Jack has to be more than 12" wide (11.5" at lowest setting,) and it says you only need 1.9" or 50mm of clearance at the lowest setting to use. Expensive and then you have to pay for shipping, but there is a 20% code going on now, promo code GEARUP2019, so I decided to pull the trigger.

I used them on my wife's Buick Enclave last weekend to change her front brake pads. I verified on my M5 that you will have to jack it up in two steps, like on a square piece of wood about 1.5" thick that I used to jack up each wheel on my Corvette Z06, but that is a small price to pay considering that on the rear of the M5 there is no good place to place a jack stand. The stands otherwise work very well and appear to be very solid.

I typically will put wooden blocks under the front two wheels (for center point clearance), then jack up (using the jack pad adapter) on each front end (driver and passenger side) to raise the rear sides simultaneously and put jack stands on the rear driver/passenger. Then jack up the front end from the approved center point of the vehicle and use another two jack stands on the front driver side and front passenger side.
