I really miss the sound of the V10... not feeling the FI noise. That said the car looks incredible at the track. So planted and understated. BMW hit it out of the park with this one.. quintessentially 5 series.

The fast panning and snapping to that video just begs to be overlayed with the "Shaft" sound track. And for $100K, BMW should have outsourced their exhaust making to Aston Martin. Isn't that the same race track the V8 Vantage S was on? Now that is how you do V8 sound.

Like many others here, I just wish it had a more aggressive sound. My 2011 335 loaner car I had last week sounded more aggressive. Only slightly exaggerating...

ya for anyone who thinks it sounds good... i dont know what your thinking, the e60 had such a nice sound to it, wether it was stock or eisenmann race on it or something, always sounded good. This one may look nice, but it sounds like crap, doesnt sound attractive at all, what a disappointment. I remember they had a video on how they have a special M team who work specifically on how the engine will sound, well i think they should hire a new team for that lol. Id definitely wait till some nice exhaust comes out which totally changes the sound of the car to something better before id buy this car. Id rather get my e60 again
