Yes they install black chrome instead of chrome in all places were chrome would normally be.

Congratulations. Given you have a gravel driveway I would strongly encourage you to clear bra your rocker panels and your rear bumper. Use wither Xpel Stealth or Suntek PPF-Matte. I used the Suntek and you cannot tell it is there but it has protected the flawless finish from numerous small debris impacts.

I covered the entire front end of the car - hood, bumper, mirrors, rocker panels and rear bumper. The car looks uniform nonetheless and there are no seams.
