Not sure why, any ideas, mine sounds like a Ferrari.
really? I need to go record the sound when I test drove the LCI I thought it sounded exactly the same. I'll hassle my dealer to let me drive their LCI again and I'll take the go pro setup.

Had my car and the LCI next to each other and we couldn't tell the difference.

Neil you need to open the valves, sport+ should do it if you don't wire them, mine sounds really good, tiny amount of drone @ 1500/1750 rpm.

Awesome car. I will probably go back to FG on my next M. Easiest frozen color to take care of, never looks dirty, and after 3 years it holds up so well that it looks the exact same as the day you take delivery.

Congrats & enjoy it.

Great new car!

Was the color on the F8x a blue-hued black, like Carbon/Jerez? And any pics of the X5M?

Are you keeping the MCB or selling it?

Yes it was a blue-hued black. Not sure which one though. No pics - they wouldn't let me take them.

Selling the MCB.

Full Platinum...lucky. GLWS, I'm sure someone will pick it up quickly.

How much was the Full platinum? I'm contemplating switching from my E90 M3 to something new (F80 or F10) and I wonder how much it was on top of the 5,000 for extended...

$6875 total for Full Platinum, so an extra $1875 over extended platinum.

That's full leather over standard leather for silverstone, black and Sakhir.

I don't want black, too dull.

I don't want Sakhir, it's too bright.

Silverstone...it's bluish. Just not really what I like. Or maybe the photos I see are a bit wrong...

I really like Platinum; it's a light beige (from what I see) and seems to match just about any color (exlcuding AW) well.

It is pretty expensive, but I'm not sure. Right now it's just something to see if I can spring for. I may not even get a F10. I'll try and find a SS interior to see in person before I decide.

SS leather is more greyish than bluish. However your characterization of Platinum is right. It's a lot like cream leather on Porsches and Aston Martins.

Unbelievably beautiful. Congrats.

I guess I'll be waiting for you to sell this one when the 2015 comes out.

Thanks! It should be reaching Brunswick on Monday.

I suspect this one will be a quick sell when the time comes

Stealth.pilot can you answer to the following questions please.,

Your Eisenmann sport is full exhaust or you have the axle back one? Did it change the tone of the exhaust also or only made it louder? Is there a difference between the tone of E sport and E Race?

It's the axle back. It makes it louder but it also creates a much deeper sound. It sounds a lot like an AMG exhaust. No drone unlike the Race model.

As for the full exhaust, I used to have the full Eisenmann on my previous 2013 M5. In my opinion that one is better because it makes it more audible in the cabin. However I gave the cross-pipes to Spinny since I didn't have anywhere to store the original exhaust (it's too long and you don't want a giant 12 foot x 4 foot exhaust hanging in your garage). So on the new car I went with just the axle back.

Wow thats an excellent detailed info. Thanks.
I am curious if race axle back will be very loud, i heard that sport almost like stock in terms of loudness.
