I disagree with most of the thread responses. In fact I think the designers stopped a little short. They should have kept piling on the mods until the thing could no longer be recognized as a BMW let alone an M5! They almost succeeded but in the end missed the mark...

This car is definitely not my cup of tea. However, IMHO, for the discerning lady or gentleman that does desire such a car they do not want a BMW. They want a car that personifies their particular tastes. So be it.... And to the haters.. I recently attended the Chicago auto show and World of Wheels. While nothing on display was this gaudy, there were plenty of vehicles that would fit the same category as this one. And plenty of show patrons drooling over them. I do not judge. I do however get into my understated de-chromed AB M5 and smile all the way home
