The car is very VERY nice. The property and estate like setting is stunning. Where in the UK are you? I design and build high end luxury homes for a living, and old world estates are so far and few between... enjoy the house, property and car.

Still can't get over BMW's decision to go with those terrible wheels. This is something BMW still needs to work on - attention to details. How and you have an anniversary edition/competition pack but use those wheels? Everything else is great but I look at those wheels and keep asking what BMW were thinking.

Couple of the interior

Very nice comments thankyou very much, I am very pleased with the car. Came out of an active 5 hybrid, very highly spec'd, but it had cream coloured individual seats, so was a bit worried the jahre might be a bit dark for me, but really love it inside. BMW ( for me ) has done a great job on this car, the alcantara is just enough, the darker trim inside works very well, and the stitching etc on the dashboard adds nicely to that special feel inside.
If I was to be critical, and its only a small thing, but the orange digits on the heating controls is way out of date for me, they should be white light, like the instruments, orange heating digits is so 1980's!!...I noticed on the i8 pics the heating controls are now indeed white, looks so much more upto date. But anyhow wont dwell on that, as overall it is a beautiful car.
In the pictures have tried to capture the way the colour changes in different light, it really does move, and it shows the lines of the car so well. Don't quite get the criticism of the wheels, I love them , think they go so well with the overall appearance. Gold calipers on the Ceramics go well too, but again a small criticism that has been mentioned before is the rear calipers, might be nice if they finished those off properly!
Loving the deep rumbling sound from the akrapovic, only upto 5.5k's so far, so not really stretched it, but in 300 miles so far, already it is livening up & becoming a bit more vocal, very pleasant sound.
Looking forward to getting it run in , should be ready for first service by the end of October.
Thanks for the kind comments on the house etc, nestled in North Yorkshire, we are blessed with lovely driving roads, well in summer we are, in winter they are covered in tractor mess!
Yep filming up the front end so that will be sorted
Couple of interior pics, not the best will endeavour to get some better ones, but gives you an idea of the interior.
I came out of a Ferrari FF to this, and I have to say I made the right choice, for me I prefer this car, that's something you wont hear too often I reckon!
