Best Wax / Polish on Black Sapphire Metallic M5

Any help out there?

I am picking up a BSM 2013 M5 with 6K miles ... wondering if there are any recommendations as best wax or polish to give protection and depth to the BSM color.

Thank you very much!

I have bsm as well and I must say it is the softest clear coat I have ever come across! It seems like if you look at it wrong you will get fine scratches. I have found a combo that works pretty good though-menzerna super finish 4000 with a black pad on a flex polisher. This really gets into the bsm and makes it's also flawless. Then I top it with a good sealant or wax, your choice. The last time I used Black fire wet diamond sealant and it really popped. I think the biggest key is really good micro fibers without the edges. It's a job in itself to take care of the black but when done well it's amazing. Good luck and enjoy

do you plan on picking up an orbital polisher.

the key to it all is compound and polishing the paint to perfection, after that its protect and then maintain from then on.

I've used Blackfire Wet Diamond on Black Sapphire Metallic now for 5+ years and I really like how easy it is to apply and wipe down. The surface is as slippery as anything else I've used, and it lasts a decent while.

Also looks rich and deep!

Test me on a product and I have most like tried it on my BSM. Interesting I fully agree Backfire Wet diamond is about the best top coat, better if you add a real wax ( I must have a $750 collection of waxes!) on top of it.
In the end I really now use three brands of products Chemical Guys, Black Fire, and Menzerna inside and out. The FLEX XC 3401 is my go to tool.

And yes it is some very soft paint... be careful how you wash and dry it.

Opti-coated mine. Beautiful, but hard work.

Agree on the Opti - Coat. Good stuff I used it on my wife's BMW GT. If you are skilled ought to use the product, if you prep the surface perfect and if you level the product out before it sets it can last 2 or 3 times longer than BlackFire, but I'm not sure it looks as good and it is pricey.

As for what I use from Chemical Guys on the paint I use in the following order, as needed.
V36 ( or V34 if you have really messed the paint up)
V38
Black light
Jet Seal 109
Pete's 53 Black Pearl.
