Anyone know what level can our turbo max out to?
As what the title say, anyone knows what is the max boost our turbo can run up to?
So once is after the max range, if we want to make more power the only way is to upgrade the turbo??? Or any other ways to up power? With the wideband afr sensor running WOT at 10.7(afr) while on 5th gear, I suppose there r still room for a larger turbo since the fuel supply is still way too rich? Any input will be helpful, thanks.

Turbo output is not measured in psi because psi is dependent upon the restriction which the turbo is pumping against.
Turbo output is measured in airflow, commonly in pounds of air/min As important as the maximal airflow is the adiabatic efficiency. I suspect maximum stock boost is at the edge of the "reasonable" adiabatic efficiency island. I've looked for and have been unable to locate the compressor maps for the 63tu turbos. If you can locate them please post them. |
