Cyba tips - install tips? (lol)

I bought black chrome Cyba tips for my beast - they showed up a few days back. I started pulling the stock tips off - got one of the right ones off without much fuss, but the other one (inner right) was ridiculously tight - to the point where I thought I'd break something if I kept twisting and pulling. Put the other stocker back on rather than risk breaking something.

I was doing this when the exhaust was cold - should I be doing when they're hot? I can't imagine it should be this hard.

Any other tips? It looks like the Cybas are held in place just by tightening those three nuts down against the stock pipe section which comes off the muffler. What did you guys do - hand tighten two and then leave the third to be tightened with the hex key?

BTW - the Cybas are considerably heavier than stock - though the net 3 or 4 lbs is hardly significant.

Thanks

I didn't want to fight with them so I sold the tips. Sticking with stock.
