Arrow P3Cars Integrated Gauge | Displaying Boost & More.

Greetings fellow forum members,

Just wanted to share some info on my new mod.

Not too long ago I was driving shotgun in a friends supercharged E92 M3 and noticed he had an integrated gauge displaying his boost and other helpful information.

I was also able to read error codes and clear the CEL.

Thought it would be nice having the additional information for track-days and/ or casual driving. I purchased the product from their site.

P3cars uses a fresh OEM vent and integrates the display in-house which made the install very easy. Had mine done in under 10 minutes.

Their simple design and exact fitment left for a very OEM look feel and operation.

"a swiss army knife of performance data, with design and integration that won't spoil the clean lines of your interior"

The system acquires the information via OBDII for live transfer - Attached below is a short clip demonstrating some of the features.

Cheers

Does yours have the 0-60 timer feature?

like the one sold by Turner?

The Turner model has additional features (0-60, 60-0, etc). That is the model I have.

These P3 Gauges take memory cards. You can always call up and get a new card, then replace - if you want those additional features.

If you want to avoid the aftermarket installation and keep your car stock you can also use a iPhone app such as DashCommander (DashCmd).

Then you also have the benefit of a larger display and more easily readable graphs. It allows code reading and clearing as well.

Some features:

Rpm
Speed
Hp and torque readouts (to get realistic numbers you should provide BSFC in the settings menu)
Mass air flow
Fuel flow
Intake air temp
Intake air pressure
Fuel consumption
Air fuel ratio
O2 sensor voltage
0-60 and 1/4 mile
Skidpad
Race track

And datalogging

This tool can be of great use for instance after a intake, exhaust or tune. Does the engine flow more air, have higher boost or flow more fuel after the mods? (Doesn't work on a piggyback tune as those manipulates the signals to trick the ECU so the ecu still sees stock numbers even when the boost is increased).

Have a kiwi 2 and dash commander. It's a powerful setup. Also Integrates with Harry's lap timer.

The p3 looks very clean. Congrats.

What's that red dash light that keeps going on when you decel at high RPM's ?

Edit: Nevermind.. I'm petty sure that's the distance warning icon.

For more than one reson I chose to steer away from an iphone app, one of them being the delay of real time displayed information.
