Next Mod-Undecided

First time owning a Bimmer yet alone a M5. Beginning to love this car for what it has to offer. It’s coming along well mod wise, but undecided on my next mod.

Some ideas:
Rear Carbon Fiber Diffuser
Carbon Fiber Side Skirts
Eibach Springs - Feel H&R is too aggressive up front
BMS STAGE 1 - JUST BOUGHT THIS TODAY
Roof Wrap
BMS Intakes
Muffler Delete

I’m leaning towards Eibach Springs or Muffler Delete. Any Suggestions?

Garage List
2015 BMW X5  [10.00]
2013 BMW M5 [SOLD]  [10.00]
2013 BMW 535i [SOLD]  [10.00]
I'd suggest get all your performance mods done first so you can enjoy all that power.

I went power and smalll aesthetics first...
black grill, black side vents, then muffler delete and flash. Brought a whole new level of power out!
The springs certainly help on the looks.

Exhaust (whichever you prefer) and suspension. I recommend you ditch the h&r springs and go KW HAS kit to put the stance exactly where you want it. Then small cosmetic changes as you go. For now my car is fast enough. I'm going looks for now, GL gorgeous M!

KW HAS and muffler delete. Are you thinking about DPs? Those will definitely give you the sound you're looking for but you'll need a tune to get rid of the cel. I'm sure you knew that already but I figured I'd ask. Love the white btw.

If you plan to keep this car a bit, maintenance prevention should be part of the upgrade as well. There are some fragile OEM parts on this car.

You said it, it's your first bimmer , first you must know how fast this beast goes and the torque is massive you must get used on it then think about a tune , start on the exterior carbon fiber front lip would be a good idea or a lowering springs.
at last it's your car you can do whatever suits you and Congrats

Thanks. Maybe if I keep the car for much longer. I’ve has DP installed on my last 3 Cars and with a tune makes a big difference.

What’s fragile on the car? I’ve heard if you’re over 650+ HP Clutch pack and axels. I’ve already replaced rear brakes n rotors; expensive!

I’m almost there if not already there. I’ve driven the car now for over 1 whole year. I already did some external mods as you can see in my pics. I think I’d like to get springs or a muffler delete next.

Diff mount as well. Preventative maintenance is my priority, especially now that I intend to keep this car a long haul. I just purchase oil catch cans to prevent/minimize carb deposits on valves and injectors. Transmission pan and fluid were replaced about a month ago. My next items on a list is to fortify diff mount, replace axles and driveshaft. Once my warranty expires I plan to drop stage one tune. My options are conservative.

Which catch cans did you buy?

These are universal https://addw1.com/shop?olsPage=produ...addw1-v3-black

as of right now this will be trial and error. I wasn’t able to find anyone on a forum or internet that had installed OCC, therefore it will take a bit longer to install them.

I see. How many miles are you at? I’m at 68,000. What miles do they recommend diff and tranny fluid change?

Im under 30k miles. Don’t hold my feet to the fire, but diff fluid change is around 30k, or third service interval. You can find that info in your manual. Tranny supposed to be sealed for life, but many members have Indy shopes replace fluid at various intervals. I did my trans maintenance just under 29k. If you are not original owner of the car you can visit your local BMW dealership, and ask for maintenance history. This way you have some idea what had been serviced on you car. They should gladly help you.

I did the black bits and installed an AWE exhaust for the time being. I'd love to go lower but the stock exhaust has a perfect ride so wll keep it as is for now. Probably KWv3 when its time to replace stock - had them on an e60 and they were great. Performance-wise I've not done anything but looking at a Flash once I'm out of warranty.
