External HDD not working?

My HDD isn't working...

I have 4 HDD, and when you turn one on, you hear it start up

This one.. I don't hear anything

so.. is it safe to assume it's dead?
Anyway to access the data on it?

it's a Seagate, probably 5 years old? 320GB

I started moving the files off of it onto a new 2TB Hitachi a couple months ago, but I don't remember how much i got off and what's left on it...

Any help is appreciated

i had the same thing happen to my Western digital ext HD, just stopped working. You can try a different usb cable i heard sometimes that can help.
Also try looking to see if you can see it under disk management, maybe it needs a HD letter assigned, for this right click on my computer and click on manage then you'll see disk management on the left.

Also you might want to check your BIOS to see if it sees it in there.

Can I open it and install the HDD as say, an internal drive on my PC?
