My only concern with the burble is whether it has any adverse affects on the waste gate. Premature wear or anything like that. Definitely worth asking. Great choice for a tuner

I think you're confused who ACM is

I do see ACM branched out to the west.

And concern over the wastegates among other things would be justified. There's a reason the S63tu doesn't have over-run pop most of the time and it's hard to conceive a way, even in theory, to program it in safely without the same significant hardware modifications the S63TU2 incorporates to allow some character to come out the ass. |

Now, how detrimental is this since: - Overrun pop requires combustion of unburnt fuel downsteam of the cylinders - The wastegates cannot open fully on pre 7/14 builds (no full electric wastegates were ever added to the S63TU but the exhaust manifold was modified to accommodate the updated electro-pneumatic wastegates with revised spring rate and longer actuator arm range) - There are two different versions of the DME's and aren't interchange (MEV17.2.8 and MEV17.2.H) - Valvetronic keeps positive pressure during off throttle cylinder de-activation and eliminates the need for a Diverter of Blow Off Valves, the compressor stays partially spooled, and scavenging is maintained without the need for a fuel rich ALS (unique to the S63TU in Fxx M5/M6) which is why it's the only BMW engine that doesn't have overrun maps with popping. There is definitely an influence in this vid. Whether it's a surge in the turbo manifold or a stall from pressure coming backwards out of the DP's...no clue. Doesn't sound healthy though.
