Ti isnt cheap and it takes a ton of skill to weld.

Not everyone can afford Akra. It is a finely tuned and constructed instrument.

I've seen other exhaust makers, shitty welds, poor fit, no weight advantage.

With Akra you get the finest exhaust that is made. Eisenmann will have a hard time being equal quality.

Anyone experienced the Akra sound inside the cabin....when driving around at town speed is the noise level still obviously louder or is it only when you get some revs up. Would one be able to have a normal conversation at motorway cruise speeds?
Don't get me wrong I love the sound on the videos but as I drive the family in it a lot would be good to know what's what before jumping in... Thanks.

The sound from the cabin is basically the same as stock exhaust, but the "fart" which i like, is more noticeable with Akra.

I use my M5 for driving with my business colleagues and family and so far no probblem with the sound.

Great point.

I have the akra evo system on my M3 and you don't notice it when cruising on the highway or in the city until you get on it. The only times that time I notice it being really loud is during start up in my garage as it sets off the same Porsche Cayenne alarm every morning. Also, when I am using the bluetooth phone people sometimes ask "is that you car?" But most males will comment that it is awesome after you tell them that it is the car.

I do as well, and in the garage at my lakehouse its hard not to give it a couple sharp dabs of throttle and watch the leaf blower in action from the rear view mirror.

Once you've owned an Akra exhaust, dropping this kind of cash on a system for the next car becomes very much reasonable.

BMW F10 M5 Titanium Evolution Exhaust System by Akrapovic

Hey everyone! For those of you who haven't seen this exhaust already, we wanted to share some pictures of the new F10 M5 exhaust from Akrapovic:

Details from Akrapovic:
The BMW M cars are some of the most impressive road cars ever created. The engineering masterpiece in the form of the new M TwinPower Turbo M5 has been a welcome challenge to the Akrapovic R&D department, which is responsible for developing truly amazing exhaust system that offer more power, weighs less, and have an EC type-approval stamp at the same time.
Compared to the previous generation, the BMW top sedan has lost two cylinders and has gained turbocharging. This doesn’t mean the M5 has lost its pure driving excellence—just the opposite. Add a full titanium Akrapovi? Evolution exhaust system and you'll never stop driving.
The new Evolution exhaust system consists of newly developed dual-outlet mufflers with exhaust valves, flow-optimized pipes, and a unique cast titanium X-shaped part with resonators. The X-pipe, valves, and flange assembly are produced in our foundry.
To top off this work of art, we’ve got polished titanium and aerospace-grade carbon fiber tail pipes to choose from.
