New ///M added to my collection
Ive had the car for about 2 weeks now and all i can say is WOW! This car is a absolute MONSTER!!!!. The car is loaded with all the options except NV, CCB's, and Rear Entertainment. I plan to get a clear bra installed within the next 2 weeks or so. Can anyone suggest a reputable shop in Houston,TX? Was thinking about checking out XPEL Houston off of 45 north...

Welcome to the MCB M5 club!! I am in Houston as well, Kingwood on the north side.
Best shop for clear bra would be Koshi at Excessive detail. Do you have any plans for mods? Ted at Europower off of Fondren and West Park Tollway will be your go to guy for any of that or regular maintenance but I know you have warranty. We have a group of guys that get together for country runs once a month or so. Send me a PM and I will get you the details if you wish. Beautiful ride  Cheers, Anthony

Im still thinking about what engine mods to get(exhust,tune, and intake). Just skeptical for warranty reasons. Yeah id be down to join you guys on a country run.  |

Extremely loud but sounds sooo good. I am about to go with the ECU tuning group tune from Ted. As far as warranty goes you are good with exhaust and tune. I am assuming you go to BMW Houston North? Eric Majors over there is my SA and hands down the best SA in Houston. He has taken care of me for years. When I had my E64 M6 rod bearings failed and needed a new motor. I had full exhaust and tune with Ext warranty and had no problem getting a new 30K (quoted) V10 motor. Only had to pay $50 deductible no questions asked. Just had to take the M5 in for DTM and the shop foreman told me to get a tune. I told him I was skeptical about a tune because I didn't want to void my warranty. He told me off the record he has never had a problem getting warranty work done on a car that was tuned. With Eric and the shop foreman being cool that is all the reassurance I need to get tuned. That is a good start on the cosmetic mods from IND. Those orange reflectors are such an eye sore as well as the chrome. Shooting you a PM. Cheers, Anthony

Welcome!! I had my full front clip done by Executive Tint on Hilcroft. Speak to Brandon. They did my tint also and had previously done my wife's MB and my Panamera. Good quality and service. They have a location on North side also...on 1960 I believe.
