You can also add the information that I for one just received by mail my "BMW European Delivery Program" kit which contains 2 specially marked Luggage tags, Welcome Letter, Travel/Hotel Info, ED Program Guide, BMW Welt Overview, Quick Ref Guide and ED Updates.

You have to encourage your dealer to call BMWNA Special Sales Department - European Delivery. Some dealers think they know everything about the BMW ED program but in reality don't.

How do you see all your specs? Mine just shows the stage in the process and the correct exterior color in the picture. Am I missing something somewhere on the page?

Did you specify caliper color in your order, or do you just have a Mac like me and the picture is rendering the wrong color? hmmmm

Each dealership for the month of may has received one allocation, about 122 cars in total for the month.(large dealerships) Not bad for the starting month, as that should race the next 2 months before production starts. So i should have my production number very soon since i am number 5 on the list, congrats to all the number 1 slots!

I am on the hunt for a dealer that can assist me with ED and Individual options. Just moved to Nashville, TN from San Jose, CA last summer and visited my local BMW dealer yesterday and they said they have not received any allocations for M5s yet.

Dont have PM privileges yet so feel free to email me at ian_coburn@yahoo.com if you have anyone you can recommend to work with.

I am itching, but desiring a Euro delivery for April or May 2013. Therefore haven't ordered yet. My dealer (western suburbs of Chicago) has told me there will be no mark-up over MSRP (I told him I would not pay over MSRP, or I would do Euro delivery).

I suggest you contact Adrian at BMW of South Atlanta. He has done most of the best M5 ED deals in the South East

The last thing you sald is that you were not in sales and someone from sales would be in touch with me in regards to your so called allocation.

Never happenned. I also never recieved a PM from you.

If you're going to be promoting your dealership and open allocations on this forum, then you better be able to deliver. We deal with enough bullshit from the local dealers that do nothing but disparage this forum.

Not good!

We just received official confirmation that we have one of the first F10 M5 allocations in CA. We have it currently built at Monte Carlo Blue on Black with almost all the options besides rear seat entertainment, however this can be changed and built to spec for anyone within the next week or so.
Honestly, your information on this allocation subject is truly blizzarre. You start of by saying that your dealer a few allocations for anyone that wants one. I immediately PM you and you immediately PM me back saying you'll have your sales team contact for one of those allocations. I mentioned that I was off to Italy for 3 weeks and I needed to act fast. You understood. Still no one got back to me.

Now you write that you have official confirmation that you have one of the first CA allocations. What happen to what you said originally about having a few allocations for anyone interested?

I still don't get the real story about allocations. I spoke to my regular dealer yesterday (Rusnak) who claims they still do not have any allocations.

If someone does understand what is going on with this, and I'd love to hear it. I'm writing this from the airport in London on my way to Rome.

What's the truth???

FWIW I just found out my car went into production status with a Week 29 build. I am doing BMW PC delivery. I am the second person from my dealership to get a production code. So dealer allocations are trickling out.
