687 BHP and 648 lbft torque

Merry X-Mas and Happy New Year fellow members, i was travelling a lot and already covered over 3k miles by car and around 2k miles by plane since 1st Jan 2015. Hope you all had good holidays. Now back to topic.

To cut long story short, i have received a call from my friend who supercharged his R8 V10 last summer and been told that company owner gave him a call and asked if he would be interested to tune his m5 f10 as they just received a tune from germany and looking for a test car. My friend told him he is not interested yet but would contact me. Obviously i said YES

So my car went in 5 days before Christmas and results are below. My CEL is gone (not appeared 2k miles after tune done), no d t mals, no warnings. SpeedLimiter is removed as well, but not tested yet. I am waiting for march-april to go germany and test it. Fuelling been adjusted as well. Cold Start could not be removed as of yet, but soon as they manage to do that, i am first in line.

I know that my ecu's been removed, 4 digit code "unlocked", reinstalled back, flashed through OBD.

Here are the results:
643BHP: resonated RPI GTM, catless dp's, bms tune
590-597BHP: resonated RPI GTM, catless dp's, bms REMOVED
678-687BHP: resonated RPI GTM, catless dp's, ecu reflash

Wow, really nice results and happy belated Holidays to you too! So, they removed your ECU to hack a 4-digit code then they reinstalled your ECU and flashed the tune via OBD2? What company? Also, why do they need your ECU (if I'm understanding correctly) to have a 4-digit code hacked? I thought the encryption was 128 or 256 or 512 bit encryption or something near impossible to hack. Seems like breaking a 4-digit code could be done fairly easily, but of course I could be wrong. Is the encryption via OBD2 the problem?

Nice dude. SO essentially you gained 37whp and probably around the same amount of torque. You also gained the CEL removal and Speed Limiter Removal. Groovey.

That is what i have been told. Company name is in dyno graphs
i am not a hacker here, all i know is that i gained some power double as much as i gained from bms

Yeah, but 90+HP gain, CEL and speed limiter removal for those without BMS. Pretty good. But, I'm still stuck on ECU removal (besides sending it to Europe) and cost for some reason.

Actually he gained ~90 HP at crank...considering 10-15% drivetrain loss, he gained 75-80 WHP...

Oh I see.
How do you compare it to bms as far as traction? Have you ever had any chance to launch the car with DSC OFF? I'm excited to know how it does launch

i have not seen any temperatures ever since tune done over 7-8 Celcius if lucky, so traction is out of question whatsoever

even with complete stock car and dsc off i managed to get to top of 4th gear spinning tires and not moving, so i guess i can make to top of 7th now

i am waiting for at least 15 degress Celcius outside before i get to run anyone and go for top speed run

i can feel more torque from 100mph plus, but traction still kicks in and cuts off the acceleration

next tires i am gg for are 305's and preferably cup 2 for sure

I'm sure that's the only option to handle this monster
