Window tint question on a MCB M5 - How much window tint ?

On the MCB M5, what would be the best window tint percentage? I dont want to look "ghetto" with pitch black, but want the classy but yet somewhat aggressive look. What do you all think would look good with MCB. Any pics would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance

I usually get the legal limit on all side windows and 20% on the back window.

I like to keep all of the %'s equal as I hate one set of windows to look darker than the others. I used 20% all round and it looked great on my AW M5. 35% is the legal limit here but I've been using 20% for about 20 years and I've never been stopped and ticketed.

Now I just got an M4 and went with high quality 30% all round and it also looks very good on the AW.

My advice: use the same % of light transmission all round, somewhere between 20%-30%.

bishman.....when you refer to 20-30% .... does that mean 20-30% light coming through or just the opposite with 70-80% light coming through??

I have Pinnacle FormulaOne 30% all around. Looks great on MCB and not too much black.

The percentage quoted tells you how much light is transmitted thru the film. Also, I hate the look of the reflective films. Just use the highest quality ceramic type film that won't interfere with 'radio' signal transmission into the vehicle.
