LDW is not an issue. BSW will cause noise which will lead the ASP programming to reduce the sensitivity of the radar detector. However you can ensure your radar detector is at full performance when you need it by switching of BSW (e.g. on long distance drives).

I am planning on getting the Beltronic StiR Plus with Laser Interceptor installed when I do get the car back. Haven't heard about the BMW Edition Dual. What's that?
BMW edition is if you want to mount it in the grille in which case it needs to be mounted vertically. the standard version is best to mount this way. The HP version seems to work very well mounted on the lip of the bumper at the top of the lower intake.

BTW make sure you buy LI direct from Cliff at LI-USA. The resellers sometimes fob you off with the 2011 version. The 2012 version has more powerful diodes. LI service is top notch BTW. I would recommend you ask Cliff to pre-program it for you to avoid false alerts.

You have heard right... They update the software... No need to reinvent them selfs to make a buck... ie other companies with wireless and other nonsense..

I have used 10 V1's from friends to my parents and have three my self(M5,Jetta,RX7).... They all work perfect and have paid for them selfs within weeks..

With LI you really want the Quad. Otherwise your car will be unprotected from the rear which is where they shoot if they hide on on-ramps.

Well some would say $110000 for a car is crazy. All depends on how good it is doesn't it?

Looks like your a page behind..

My Response was a joke, but thanks for the name calling. Obviously you are to smart to know that jammers are a waste of money as they just piss off cops and cost more then 3 tickets before you even get pulled over... As some other people have mentioned use your brain not your wallet... Otherwise you might as well just save $1200+ for Tickets

Having a detection system is all you need

Enlighten me then... Do I need a invincibility cloak... Maybe a time machine to go back to slow down before the speed trap? Sense that might be the only way to avoid being spotted... Anyone Know where I can Get them Installed

Since I live in the communistwealth of Virginia where rader detectors are illegal, I use the Escort IQ (http://www.escortradar.com/iq/). It looks like GPS mounted to the wind shield, works pretty well actually, I regularly travel up and down the heavily patrolled I-95 corridor, this detector has saved me multiple times, accurately warning me of the threats in plenty of time to take action. Also I like the enhanced metrics this detector offers, the LED/LCD screen on most detectors out there look like they belong in another century. The rader detector market is crying out for a facelift. I also used the Cobra iPhone detector with very limited success.
