Getting my M5 from break in today.

Im getting my M5 from service this afternoon .

The guys from BMW says , it unleash more power and boost after break in service , it is TRUE ?

in break in , i didnt pull it more than 5000 RPM , and only pull harder a few times , and i think its a animal already ! ( 991 2s before )

Now after 2000 km , im gonna drive it like i stole it , i cant wait until 4000km or what.

Should i ride hard now ? or wait ?

The car turns more powerfull after break in ?

Thanks

I drove it hard from day #1. I left the dealership in a power slide.

There is no difference after break-in with regards to power.

Just had my 1,200 mile service done last week and can't really tell a difference. Still powerful though!

Oh and yes, ride it hard through the rev range now.

No difference, but if you babied it during break-in and set the throttle to sport plus after, it'll feel like a whole different car.
