Ran the ESS Tune Tonight
So I finally got out to the track tonight with the ESS Tune.
Also this was the fist time running the car with the MSR intake. Previous best was 11.56 @ 122.3 MPH and the DA was dreadfully over 4000. (BMS @ 3.0, Gruppe M and Exhaust Mods). Tonight first run 11.15 @ 126.4 MPH and DA was best I've ever seen in 10 years about 1440. On the second run the Trap Speed was up to 127.30. First launch was almost a clean run, little bit of slip. Second and third runs, the track had dropped below 10C and car spun bad. Plus I was babying the axles a bit and my burnout was probably a bit too light.

Great runs! What were your 60' times?

Nice times. You're transmission is slipping with a flash, exhaust (stock dp), and intake? I have a 2016 on the way and am looking to do the same mods, but am concerned about what the limits of the transmission are (been hearing a lot of different feedback) - maybe you could shed some light on that, thanks.

Very nice run. I'm gonna head back to the track maybe next month to see if I can improve on my time before I add a tune.

Others have already posted that with aggressive tunes/driving, the clutch will fail. My best 60' was 1.739. The other two runs, I spun so I won't even bother to post those times.

Very very nice 60', very nice temperature too. What DR are you using?
Did you launch it? If yes at which rpm? Last edited by Andym3100k; 09-05-2015 at 06:20 PM.. |

That's great times! Man those MT's help - need a set.
You should hit 10's easy. Slap on the BMS and add +1.0psi and you should be there especially with the traction you have. I compared your timeslip to mine and I was 5.3s at the 330ft so you are definitely hooking! |

Thats what I've been wondering the last few days as well. I have a BMS and I'd like to upgrade it to a JB4 anyways for logging. Car is pretty nuts already, it would be nice to add some boost over say 4000 RPM. Car already has too much power below 4000.

Track elevation is 2200ft.
Air sucks at the best of times. Normally around mid 3000's. Bad days well over 4000.
