Can I run JB4 + BCM and run map2 to get the 22psi target or would I run Stage 1 and add 5psi using the datalogging cable?

I will NOT be running meth or race gas or any of those.
I want to be running map2 on JB4 or is that the same as running JB on +4.5?

I understand it has all the data-logging capabilities and whatnot.. but I'm more interested in power. I know that stage 1 runs 18psi if I'm not mistaken?

Thanks guys!
I would go with JB4 + BCM. You'll produce more power in Map2 than you do with a stage 1 and also have the option of Map7 later on. I also like the fact that you can data log and watch your IATs/timing/ignition/knock and boost. If you live your car you will definitely want to data log and watch how your car reacts.

I see what you're saying, but I'm curious can I run map2 with no issues since I do have any other mods such as DP's, meth.. etc.

So there is no way to make the stage 1 tune with the data logging cable to make it meet the 22 psi target?

That's where the BCM comes into play

You'll need the JB4/BCM to push it to 22 PSI from what I understand.

Stock boost is 17psi and the bms stage 1 can add up to 5psi safely. +4 on pump and +5 you need a race fuel mix. A few push it to 6 and even 7 but you are really running the risk on a stock tune because you run out of fuel.
