Dinan sway bars...opinions wanted
I was considering ordering these but wasn't sure if it was worth the money or not. I currently have kw v3's installed. Anyone that has the sway bars installed please let me know your opinion of them. If you have both kw's and the sway bars please let me know if you think it's worth getting the sway bars as well.

I first installed the front and rear BMW comp pack sway bars in my standard 2013 M5 and it helped cornering a lot. At that point I was using the stock BMW 19 inch wheels and tires. Next came aftermarket 20 inch wheels and 275 front/305 rear tires. Turn in and cornering another step up. Last addition was the KW V3 suspension, and you already know how much better that made the ride feel.
Having had the sways before the KW V3, I can't know for sure if the V3 by itself would perform as well. For cornering I think not. The front comp pack sway bar is a big improvement. I don't know if the performance of the Dinan sways is worth the extra expense. I tend to think not, but I haven't ridden in an M5 with Dinan sway bars, so have no direct comparison unfortunately. One extra observation. The rear sway that BMW sells for the comp pack is almost identical to the stock sway bar in every dimension. The front comp bar is much stiffer than the standard bar and I suppose BMW feels the balance of the car is fine with that combination. Not worth spending around $200 for the rear comp bar in my opinion. |

I have a '15 CP on V3's (factory settings) Love the KW's but still looking for less body roll. Isn't a lot of info on Dinan sways but my piecemeal info/user feedback led me to purchase the Dinan sways a few weeks ago. Haven't had time to install yet so no feedback but will let you know when I do.

They are excellent. Very happy with them.

I think they are definitely worth the money. I have Dinan sways with just KW HAS kit and body roll is reduced significantly. They are thicker and stiffer than CP sways. I first had Dinan sways installed first on a stock non-CP suspension and felt a difference right away.
