I agree with the poster who mentioned if you're not willing to share full information of the car with FELLOW enthusiasts then keep the pictures to yourself.

No need to hide the VIN and colour code lol. You lost my respect, which might not mean much to you. However, having that much money + no respect is a fail in my humble opinion.

Now I will leave and just go back to my boring Individual Fire Orange M3. </3

Btw, my beast isn't finished yet, just installed...

- K&N sport air filter
- full LED interior lights
- Akrapovič Evolution line exhaust system with Titanium tail pipe set

And there are still some mods to come! New pics and vids coming soon!
Looking forward to seeing / hearing the outcome... Great work. Love the whole project. And the fact you are keeping some things to yourself . Hopefully you've got your winters off and 601's back on now?

Yeah, the 409M 20" look indeed very good for winter wheels and very similar to the 343M that I originally wanted to order.
But I love the 601M and now they are back on ! I polished them myself and applied OptiCoat two times for maximum protection plus a gloss enhancer. They really shine like hell !!

The next big project is to make a good video of my beast myself, just for fun. I'm no prof with video cams but I will try my best. Therefore I still have to do some preparations and detailing work. And I need perfect weather conditions. So I need some time for that.
But as soon as possible I will show you guys the result!

Car is beautiful; was blue thread on option for the contrast stitching? That would have tied nicely with exterior color. Regardless, gorgeous car - and I really like those 409M wheels!

In fact blue thread was an option! I could go for at least 6 different blue colors. I discussed it with my M service advisor at the M Studio in Munich but in my opinion the blue threads didn't match to the black interior leather for example on the dash board. The contrast stitching is much better! But this is a question of taste.
I love it the way it is!

Of some reason that I can't understand you don't want to tell the colors name, but it is a Bentley color, namned after a fishing king, sickfinga has already writen the name and there is a BMW F31 and a 640d Cabrio F12 painted in the color and also an Audi RS5 Cabrio and S4 Avant + a lote of Bentleys so it's unique on F10 M5 but not otherwise.

Regards Stephan
Thanks for the congrats!

Concerning the color it seems that you are guessing it by its appearance.
Maybe it looks similar to Atlantis blue, Estoril blue, Sepang blue, Kingfisher blue, Neon blue, Mistral blue, Toledo blue, Capri blue, Tobago blue, Mystic blue, Atlantic blue, Montego blue, Montreal blue, LeMans blue, Avus blue,...

But I don't think that you can tell me the real name/code of the color just by looking at it and without having seen the plate under my bonnet!

But nice try.

Be sure to make a new thread. The SB on AB is very nice. I have AB on my M5.. and like it a lot.
Also always liked brown interior on blue cars. It just works.
Could not agree more. All my BMWs have been blue with brown interior as well! Good choice Sir!

The new Long Beach Blue on the new X5M and X6M sure looks cool. I'd like to see it in real life along with Donington Grey.

It is Kingfisher Blue. It has to be. Look at this VIN and tell me this isn't this car. http://www.bmwvin.com/x/index.php?vin=D094205
If this isn't this car, then the OP has got an identical twin running around Germany.

Read the OP's original post: the is a "one-off" color. Assuming this is true - and there is no reason to doubt him - you can name BMW colors all day and you won't name the right color. Probably b/c this color has no name.

See attachment. Since the bmwvin.com website doesn't seem to be working, I thought I would post this. This has to be his M5. It has all the right stuff.

Could be his car. What do you think BMW would specify in the color section if they did a special one-off color? Could be a filler. Anyway, I can't quite understand why folks are obsessed with naming this color. The OP has stated that it is not a BMW color. If he is lying, I doubt he is all of a sudden admit it when someone guesses correctly. I mean, if this were an episode of Matlock, that might happen . . .

stunning car but I can't help but thinking that this car would look even better with the 343M wheels in silver rather than the comp pack wheels
