Bolt ons the GTR even just a OTS cobb map it would change, but stock vs. stock... The GTRs days of just pulling up to a car and dogging it stock have been over since 2013. Driving situations... It really comes down to how reckless the driver is. The GTR clamps down harder taking turns at 120+ where the M5 hides its weight until you go just a tad bit too fast and that weight starts to bite. If you had a 45mph turn and took it at 90-100 in the M5, but GTR owner was scared to go over 88, whose car is faster that day? Few situations you'd find yourself in not on a track where you'd be able to get a away from an equally risky M5 driver lol |

And on the rare exception you get someone wild enough to do it like me, or someone on this board. The abilities of both vehicles stock vs. stock on a given local road, are again not going to allow for either one to have a clear edge IN MOST SITUATIONS. mix in some long straight aways with a few turns and yes a clear winner will make itself known, but if your in a 35 mph zone with a couple 1000 feet before a big turn, neither car will show its superiority over the other. You'd need track, or extreme mods along with drivers willing to push the cars to show this. |

But of course you buy a 2016 GTR probably only has bolt ons or 1000cc injectors and is an expert lol. Thats the new GTR community for you people who run 9s and 10s suddenly experts lol. When you mod that GTR to trap 170s like I had mine set up for then I'll ask you how you know about GTRs lol. |

I'm not a fan of the gtr (no offense meant), but my boy has one. He came from a new E64 M6 and he couldn't be happier. He said it'd the best car he's ever owned.

I'll be back in one as soon as we see the prices after the 2018s hopefully force Nissans hand to slash prices. |

I hear you bro. Sometimes a car just grabs you and that's it. That's the way I feel and have felt about M6s for nearly a decade. I could have went a different route, Maserati, R8, gtr, whatever, but the M6 is my first choice and has been for a while. I feel like a young kid every time I see that ///M emblem, M6 emblem, and the beautiful ///M stitching. There is no other car that I want for a daily driver. I know there are better cars, but not for me.
