Minor scuff on the rear bumper

I noticed yesterday as I was getting into my car that something had brushed up against my lower rear bumper. There is a scratch about an inch long and a CM wide on the bumper and another one right above the tail pipe. Pretty upset about it...figured this is the place to come and complain

You came to the right place. Sorry to hear about such a thing.

My recommendation is to just vinyl wrap your whole car. That way you won't ever have to worry about such things again.

But yeah just take it to a shop and get an estimate.

Knowing that the scratches and imperfections are there, I honestly don't even want to drive the car. OCD level to the max today

Ordered this just now as my first attempt. If it looks crappy, I'll contact my body shop.

Hasn't mobile bumper repair caught-on out there? Here, a professional auto-body guy will come to your office/home and fix minor scrapes, scratches, and scuffs for about $300. The top-rated guys do brilliant work - I guarantee you could not spot the minor imperfection that was fixed on my front bumper...

Hah, you're just like me. I had a door ding and repainted the damn thing to fix it right. Almost $1k for something most people will not pay attention to.

I'm in the same boat as you and I'm about to order that same touch up paint...

Let me know how it turns out!

Not sure how it works on bumper (plastic) but I think something like Dr. Colorchip is much easier to deal with than OEM paint touch up.

I'm going to keep my fingers crossed and hope that it does the trick. Again, to the normal eye, these marks can not be seen. You literally have to get on the ground and look for it...I'm an a$$ and I have to do what I can to fix it to my best ability before having it done professionally (if needed).

The paint was shipped on Monday so I should be getting it any day now. I'll take some before and after pics and post them for you guys.

Thanks
