M5 Arrivived today! first question an wheels/spacers

Just got today, snapped a couple pics then went for a familiarity drive. Alot to learn... i do have one oddidty to explain. The wheels are clearly aftermarket. They are flowone racespec f3.. whats odd is these do not have an M5 fitament.. I had spacers, I took wheel off to install them and i see what you see in the hub pic.. some sort of ring around the hub to allow for the flowone to fit. SO I am bummed that i cant use spacers but also a bit concerned about this ring clearly installed to make the wheel work.... although i love the wheels and the gunmetal color is awesome in person on the car. beyond that, all the other work is great, already has a CAI, nice fron lip, looks to be a full custom exhaust, but still need to try and figure out brand, has an integrated passport detector as well. , and the conditiom is just amazing. looking forwad to ownership!

oh and after some decent amount of research, I am almost positive that the exhaust is the Agency power titanium from matching it against some pics from some old blogs i found. no clue if thats a good exhaust or not, but i like the much bigger tips for sure, they are 4"

Is that a hub centric ring molded onto the hub? Wow, I've never seen that before... That's unfortunate if it is. Try to pry that off somehow so you can fit your spacers.

If they are stock size, they look pretty small... Are you sure they're 265/35 and 295/30?

Yeah, 265/35 and 295/30 are the stock sizes. Depending on the width of the wheels you could even run 285/30 and 325/25.

Most go for 305/30 in the rears

Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres are a good choice for these cars and I have 305's on the rears with 5 mm spacers which improves traction off the line.

yep stock size tires 100% and yes appears that ring is molded to the hub.. i cant take it off, if i do, then the wheels wont fit as theat ring is what makes the hub sized larger to allow for the larger hub of the wheel, so unless i buy new wheels, then no spacers, oh well
