That looks even better! Thinking about it could you wrap the aluminum bit say in like a stainless steel 3M wrap or a different wrap or is it to small/thin?

depends on how small you talking about? if the surface is too small, it probably won't wrap well enough, your next best bet could be pasti dip as they have got alot of color options now.

How difficult were the trim pieces to take out?

Now that you've reinstalled them, any rattling, squeaking, rubbing, etc...?

I was going to take off the alumium strip for the trim wrap, except that piece is plastic melted onto the wood trim in the back, If you look at the previous back trim pictures, you will see there was alot of melted plastic sticks to lock the wood and alumium together.

you can wrap them all togather in one piece no problem, but if you want a different color, there will be a slight problem as the alumium trim sits alittle further out compare to the wood trim (very little), and the wrap will not be able to get in between the wood and alumium.

took off all the trims in about 5 mins (excluding the shifter area), as long as you dont break anything during this install, there should be no extra noises, the wrap is thin enough yet has a good texture, no rubbing from what I can see.
