Similar thing happened to me once, I went to an upholstery specialist that used a type of fine graded paper to rub out the scratch. I couldn't tell it was there after they finished.

Did you do it with your watch?

Hmmm:

1. Get fixed by upholster
2. Warranty if you have a good relationship
3. Excuse to get alcantara wheel

#3 Warning: $$$

I believe you're unofficially allowed one steering wheel replacement in a warranty period. I wouldn't use it yet on something so small. Fine grande sand paper will do the trick.

I would leave it alone for awhile - these generally smooth themselves out with wear from regular use. If it really bothers you, it can be buffed - I've never had it done but it was presented as an option when I scuffed the steering wheel on my R32 steering wheel. I opted to let it ride and it wore smooth over a few months.
