Interesting choices, and upgrades. Rapid is a sexy car but a tad over priced. For that bracket move into the Ferrari range as the price point is very close IMO. My cousin has a Rapid, and he likes the M6 better for performance and feel! Good luck. (my weapon of choice would be the 991, and of you want resale 4.0 RS is the best choice of all due to limited numbers. Better know someone to get one of those.

sorry about your car - very frustrating.
wrt alternative my advice is to avoid Aston Martin especially if you don't like issue with faults. Not met an Am owner that hasn't had some sort of issue.

The Rapide has akward lines, doesn't look ride for a 'sedan' Panamera Turbo is hideous no matter which way you cut it.
