Gorgeous car! Was it delivered to you with 18 miles on it, or did you put most of those miles on it yourself?

Was delivered with 7 miles on it. The car was brought to me while i waited at the dealership filled out most of the paperwork but not all, test drove it while i was at the dealer, and then signed final paperwork and took those photos when it was officially mine. Thats why it had those miles on it.

And thanks again all for the good luck wishes much appreciate it.

Remember the US Window Sticker prices do not include sales tax. This can add up to 10% to the price of the car.

I know your taxes are higher. You can get lower prices if you can reign in your governments from taxing and spending so much.

I think if you add all the different taxes we pay in the US plus health care plus education, you'll find that we're in worse shape overall in terms of value for our money, unfortunately. The masses here are bought with cheap cars and electronics, not noticing how they give up the more important things.

Guess the front kidney grills are available in black, BUT the side little light/grill. Where did you get a black one?

Very nice, congratulations. $109K is not cheap. Good thing it's just a "suggested" price.

Really like the GPS.

Have you noticed the "clunk" problem with your car? Clunk sound from back when you go over speed-bumps?

To be honest with you in the beginning i didnt, but after putting 300+ miles on the car as of now and getting to know the car a lot better, i must admit that over larger bumps on the road, usually those road dividers on the bridges that you cant go around, i certainly feel a "clunk" sound from the back. I think most people wouldnt even notice it but i do feel that it is there unfortunately. Not a deal breaker but still.

The problem in my view isn't so much the clunking sound itself, but the fact that the coil springs aren't doing their job properly - they move and hit the area above them, which causes the noise. It's anyone's guess what damage this may be causing there. The damage, if any, caused by the impact of the moving spring may stay there even after the spring is replaced. Besides, having to replace the springs on a brand new car is unappealing to say the least...

You made one of the best color combinations ever...LOL.. Red interior is my signature color. Had on my M3, X5 4.8is, now X6M and guess what... my new M5--doing euro delivery so in a few months. Can't wait. AW with red (honestly Sakhir Orange is pretty red, have it on my X6M) and love it.

Congrats!

I havent look exactly into whats causing it but i'm surprised that BMW hasn't said or done anything about it. It is not a cheap car and its a bit mind boggling that BMW wouldn't catch this issue.

Thank you! I must say that i was a bit worried about the sakhir orange in the beginning prior to order as I always went with a black interior before, but i couldn't be more happier with my choice now. As each day passes, i love it more and more.

Glad you had this choice for several of your cars and the choice on your new one! Good luck with it!

P.S. - good luck keeping the car low for the first 1200 miles, it pretty much impossible.
