Josh thanks for coming out. We all had a blast. F10 is truly an amazing car for what it is. Had almost as much fun in it as in the m3. This was my first time at Thunderhill and I'm a fan already. Stay tuned for more pics and stories.....

just a couple.. this was on a cool down lap since my brakes were smoking and a little glazed (pads suck!). At least they weren't 700 degrees like Barry's! Carbon Ceramics would've helped! fastest laps were only 2:11-2:12 when pushing it about 8/10's according to the M Timer. The brakes were definitely not very confidence inspiring when it got a lot warmer and a lot of the guys brakes were making a lot of noise at the end of session.

those are very good times man. laura was not as fast in the f10 and managed "only" 2:10 in the GTR.

2:20 in the neutered Miata rental. I don't think that car does more than 94MPH. Still, was fun almost never braking

I also mustered 2:20 lap times in the F10. I thought it was well suited for this track despite brake limitations. I accelerated front and rear pad changes by about 8000 miles after the day. haha.

thanks for organizing a great day barry! there are so many details that go into planning something like this, and the day went quite smoothly from a logistical standpoint so good on you for that! among many other things, I thought Victoria being as much an auto enthusiast as you was very cool.

I'm looking forward to our next outing.

the toe out on that one wheel was crazy! I really slowed down after Steve's thing. I was following him for a couple laps and after awhile figured it wasn't a good idea!

What an epic day. Big "thank you" to Barry for organizing. It was really cool to put a face with a name (and a handle) to all the guys on the board. Good group of folks. Can't wait for the next one.

I did get some video, however, HLT crashed and didn't get my last laps. 2:20 was my fastest recorded.

Pics! First, a shot of "the meatball", as it came to be known. Rental, which had front struts so jacked a Camry would have been better on track. Check out the gangsta lean:

Given the high performance drive of the meatball, I was yearning for something more mellow. I asked to borrow Rob's car. And unfortunately I was one of the hand full of folks that had an off-track excursion. I pushed a little to hard. Carried too much speed into the corner, locked it up, dropped a wheel and the result was this:

Nice, eh? I am sure the photographer was stoked to see some real action

And some of me in the F10
