So I lost 2nd and 4th gear.

A Trans Am wanted to test the M5 so I got into D3/MDM. We are going about 35 MPH. I go WOT and a long delay as if I was in neutral happens. So the Trans AM is gone now. I try to figure out what's happening and the car would only shift from 1st to 3rd and 5th. I did another WOT try and still no 2/4. So I pull over turn car off and that fixed the issue. Weird.

One of your clutches in the DCT that runs 2, 4 and 6 was not engaging for whatever reason.

Damn dude ta kicked your butt. I think that was a urban lengend. J/k. When was the last time you checked your oil level/transmission level? Take it in for a look see on the trans issue. If you want I'll come over there after wk for a look see. I'm gonna have to find that guy to redeem ourselves. Can't let him think he got away w a win.

so funny in the south (or whatever houston is considered)... all of the retards in "american muscle" always want to race... you have no idea how many of these I come across on any given week. I dont think I had ever even seen a 2002 Pontiac GTO until I moved to this place. not to mention the people in their raised trucks that like to race.

It will be your solenoids. One of the pistons that does one side if the gearbox will have a tiny shard of metal stuck to it, i bet. Clean oil out, clean solenoids, put back together abd Bob's your uncle!

I never took it to dealer. Everything was fine when I rebooted the car. I'm back on demo run mode.
