bad azz
I'm so happy tonight as I took out my first Z06. Not once, but twice. He got the jump on me as he gave the starting notice, but immediatly afterwards, the beast roared and tore him a new a-hole. It wasn't even close. He gave me thumbs up and that was it sunk in just how fast this car really is. One of my friends had a z06 that I drove a couple of times, and his was extremely fast, but this one...this one...

Take a vid next time! Those Z06 Vettes are no joke, stock for stock I would've expected a closer race!

This just happened by chance on my way home so no camera moments. In 3rd he got the jump but right after my engine spooled up and easily walked on him. Yes my car is Dct

Having owned 2 c6 z06s I'm wondering if this was a base c6 or a grand sport.. Still no slouch. Tried a vbox run one cold night, and short shifting 2nd to 3rd i managed a 8.4. With 7s in perfect conditions. Best ive heard the m5 do is in the mid to high 9s. I will note that the notchy tremec can be hard to shift quickly and can slow terminal velocity...

Had a Carerra 4S blow by me on the highway and then I caught him and stuck right to his tail. After a few miles he moves over and waives me up to to say "that's all I've got..you're faster!" These cars are really powerful. Mine with the tune, DP and exhaust is actually pretty hard to launch. My 21" HRE should arrive this week. Putting 305 SS on the rear so hopefully I get more grip. Right now D3 is best way to launch by easing into the throttle but if you floor it too early it just spins. I don't mind. Last edited by ColdList; 03-10-2013 at 07:45 PM.. |

It wasn't a grand sport. He did shift well but it wasn't his day. I've only stretched my cars legs with out another car present so it was finally cool do go against someone with a fast car. . I wonder how the 426 will do as I sat in one last week. Just wish it had more leg room. Really nice.
