My F10's baby brother got home tonight.

After 4 years of not being moved and sitting at my Inlaws' house, we finally got a transport company to move the e46 and picked it up tonight.

The car is a 2001 AW 325ci 5spd with Active Autowerke blower, PSS10's, H&R sway bars and powerflex bushings. Drove it home and honestly I felt like I was driving a slow ghetto mobile. I got spoiled by the technology, power, comfort and huge amount of torque in the F10 to the point where I forgot what "normal" car feel like. I quickly realized how spoiled and lucky we are to be able to afford the F10.

That's quite an interesting point. Far too easy to take current 'toys' for granted.

Your E46 still looks current (from the front at least), esp. with the mods.

Nice. I used to have an E46 ZHP-fun car.

E46 has better steering feel than any modern BMW including M.

Loved my E46 so much

Thanks guys.

Keep in mind that this is a 325ci with 5 spd (bottom end model). I looked at possibly selling it, but they are not worth anything even with the expensive mods on it.
Steering lacks a lot (completely different from e46 M3 or ZHP models), there is no torque even with the active autowerke supercharger, but the car feels really light, nimble and it's fun around the corners.
I think I am just spoiled by the F10. Let me spend some time with the car this weekend and see if I change my mind.
