my weekend drive

took route 1 from the city. americans don't quite understand the concept of using the pull out lane, so i had a lot of opportunities to turn out and snap pics.

Great Car nice views.
I wish we had some roads like this in the UK, it would give us a chance to "stretch" the M5.

Nugent, Your pics are really making me go back and fourth between Singapore gray and Silverstone when I order my car. Originally I wanted SG with SO, but now I'm thinking Silverstone with Black... But then i see your car.... Why does it have to be so difficult lol. Great pics though!

unlike you like baby blue cars, don't go silverstone. that's what it really looks like in person.

I don't want baby blue all the time, but regular silver is just too boring. So silverstone interests me seeing as it kind of changes a little depending on lighting. How has the SG been with showing scratches/swirls? I plan on opti coating the car so that should help a little...

Perfect. Just perfect. It's exactly how I'd do monochromatic mods if I had a black or SG car.

You and nugent are both right. Regular Silver is boring, but Silverstone is not the answer. It looks baby blue too often for my taste. Pure Metal Silver could be perfect - but for $8 - $10k? Forgetaboutit!!

i have opti-guarded. i do a spray wash (dry without wiping) once every couple weeks. with a light touch, i use the california duster in between washes in the morning. no swirl marks. finish looks perfect still. i use a quick detailer for small touch ups.

The color of the car in connection with your mods looks great. This would have been my next color choice. Sexy
