Headlight TMS module

Hi guys, hope someone here can help. I have an M5 F10 MY 2012. I upgraded my headlights to facelift adaptive led headlights. Sadly, my right headlight is suddenly heavily fogged up, and i have to replace the TMS and the main ballast.

Ballast i went with the original part numbers, however, the TMS, i went after market.

Now the issue is, my drl cannot be turned off. When the DRL checkbox (on idrive) is not ticked, the DRL just goes dimmer but not turning off. when the checkbox is ticked, the DRL gets brighter but not turning off.

Can this be coded? Will it be fine using aftermarket TMS?

And also, my left TMS looks fried physically. Looks like Water damage. and my left DRL is completely not turning on. Most likely due to the broken TMS

Anybody else suffer from water damage to their TMS?
