Got hit at a red light

Today i was waiting at a light at a 4-Laned two way street, parallel to a Con Edison truck when all of a sudden the driver decided to drive towards my late and hits my whole left front side taking out my fender, light, and bumper. I just got my car 2 months ago, i felt like killing the driver.

Given the rate of incidents at red-lights for so many M5s, we need a technical service bulletin issued from BMW for the '13 M5s:

Drivers should avoid red light intersections at all cost.

Given how bad of a driver he was, I suppose you are lucky he 'noticed' and stopped. Sorry man.

Let's see, I'll bet he said "I didn't see you." I learned the hard way in NYC also with a truck driver. They turn into you without making sure your not there. Never pull up to a truck on your left side, at a light without making sure he knows your there. This sucks and I feel your pain.

The driver came to my passenger window and told me "your alright don't worry about it." I wanted to jump right out the car and kill him but I kept me cool because I knew the city was def paying for it compare to a person that has no insurance.

I'm astounded at how many accident threads we've seen with this car. All of them from utterly stupid drivers not paying attention at lights and stop signs.

I've never seen an accident like this before. Seems like you have some real idiots in the NE. He crossed a solid white line to hit you. Not only was it stupid, but even if your car wasnt there it would be an illegal maneuver.

If you own the car be sure to go after diminished value. There is def suspension damage here.
