BMW supply of spare parts

So i know, BMW in the past has had logistics issues that has lead to some customers waiting excessively for spare parts..

I need a new number and have been told its on back order...Should be back in stock by the 7th July and then back with my UK dealer by the 12th July, 5 days later..

Is this likely to happen within the timeframe that my dealer is stated or should I prepare myself for further delay?

Cheers

My X5 has been in the shop for 3 weeks waiting on a part from Germany.
