I have a Nov 2013 car, but it's a post facelift LCI model so has all the newer bits & bobs.
When I bought it, the nav screen was badly scratched so I had the dealer change it. They said they'd swapped it for another car's rather than pay for a new one. (no idea. all I know is I got a shiny new screen!) This new one was waaaaaaaay brighter and the colours stood out much better. It looked like an ipad as opposed to an 80's PC. To my dismay they managed to scratch the new screen again, so it's just had a 3rd fitted. This one is back to being all dim and horribly dull coloured. What's going on?? My nav, and the whole car is as up-to-date as possible software wise. Is there a difference in parts for older and newer cars. Did I simply have a newer screen for a while, and now they have bought a 'new' one, it's back to the original part for the car? They think I'm making this up. Help! PS. S/W version is 3.9.4 Also, I notice in Realoem that the part number for the 10" screen is different if it's CIC or not. (65509289008 vs 65509266385) is this possibly connected? I have the 1st one ending 008, which is non-CIC-Zusteuerung. What does that mean??! Last edited by 100%Cocoa; 06-03-2016 at 12:47 PM.. |
