Thinking about a slightly louder car wrap, help me ...

Dear All,

It's been ages since I have posted last and I feel really bad about it. Been lurking on and off but simply didn't have time for a proper post. New job, moved to Florida (!!) and many other things just took all my time.

Now I am thinking turning my F10 for the last 6 months or so of ownership (before I either switch to F80 or Z06) into a driving billboard. My car was always geared towards being as subtle as an M5 could be, now I go the opposite way.

Below my first draft, I would greatly appreciate you letting me know what you think or what you think should be improved. Thank you.

P.S.: Still have awesome video footage from VIR with Donnie Isle and team and can't get to edit it. It's eating me up that I can't share it with you yet!!!

Damn dude, haven't heard from you for forever. Didn't know moved down to Florida. Come to think of it, we haven't heard from Stealth Pilot in a long time either. I haven't been posting much lately either. I think the wrap idea is good. Oh and just get another M5, I think you will miss it. There's no butt massagers in a Z06.

I'm still here. In Atlanta now though, no more Florida.

Not much to say about M5 from me. I'm just waiting for the next generation E63 and then jumping ship.

I love BMWs. all but 3 cars I have ever owned have been BMWs. However having attended the private launch of the G12 7 Series, I am now convinced that BMWs window of leadership in car design is over, and the baton has shifted to Mercedes for now.

I usually see those ad wrap jobs on Civics and Scions... I don't think the M5 can pull that off. Maybe a 528 or 535, but not the M5.

Not really a fan, but if you want to go with it, I'd say stick with just the watch advertisement and skip the ///Mpower decal on the front fenders as well as the Michelin/Castrol logos.

Unless you're being sponsored by both Michelin and Castrol ofc

Wow, everybody is moving. I may be down in the South next year, so I'll be sure to look you up when I drive down. But yeah I hear ya on the whole BMW lack of design for this era. Like you, I am not exactly wow'd by the G11/G12. Truth be told the E-Class is one of my least favorite cars from Mercedes, but if the new C-Class is foreshadowing the future for the rest of the line up, we may get something very good in the future, however, we still have yet to see the new 5-Series, so I feel like I can't pass judgement quite yet. What BMW needs is something to really shake up their designs like Bangle did. Many thought the Bangle designs were bad but at least they were polarizing, they got a lot of attention. The new G11/12 looks too close to the F01/F02 on the outside and the size of the kidney grilles has officially gotten out of control. Even the new Audi designs look a lot more futuristic and 21st century.

But back on topic. (H) good luck on deciding which wrap you want. When the project is finished be sure to post up lots of pictures. Just whatever you do, don't do a Zebra wrap. Lol!
