Hand Free Trunk with Carbon Diffuser?

Does anyone know if the hand free trunk opening will still work with the 3D Design rear diffuser? They say it won't work anymore but just wanted to know if someone was still able to retain it.

It will not work unfortunately, a small price to pay to have carbon fiber. Carbon fiber blocks radio frequencies. I have the Challenge diffuser and no more kicking to open the trunk.

I'm not sure it matters. Mine works 1 out of 10 times anyway.

I find it pretty useful, it works for me about 95% of the time.

mine is the same.... i found it so bloody annoying that i dont even bother anymore,.. and just use the remote.

I use the hands free all the time when getting groceries etc out of the back.

Bronch - don't let your foot linger below the bumper for too long. Any wave of foot longer than half a second below the bumper and it won't open. My wife and I have mastered this now after a few frustrating attempts in the beginning and she loves it!

Mine doesn't work with the 3d design diffuser. It didn't work properly for me anyways. I rather use the remote to open and close.

Interesting.... you say you use the remote to "open AND CLOSE'. is this correct? the only reason i ask is because i find the only way i can close is to push the button on the trunk lid....?????

You need to code your car to close it too.

The ind carbon fiber diffuser works well with hands free. I think it's the only one on the market. My kick works okay, but the diffuser looks great.
