New F10 M5 Owner

Hey guys,

I just took delivery of my 2016 F10 M5 today and I am in utter awe of how far these things have come since the E60 M5 that I've owned. This is my 2nd M car and actually my 2nd M5. I recently sold a 996 turbo that I replaced with the F10 M5.

I got mine spec'd in Black Sapphire Metallic, with Silverstone Interior. B&O Package, Executive Package, Driver Assistance Package, and Smart Phone Integration.

First 30 or so miles have flown by and I'm looking forward to knocking out this 1200 mile break in period. I've already got some parts coming in from some fellow forum members and I'm looking forward to enjoying many more miles and learning more from all of you.

Just placed my order yesterday for almost the exact same car except I got the 601 wheels and also added the Comp package. Love the black with Silverstone interior. There aren't many out there like it and that's exactly how I ordered mine. Now, I sit and wait for 3 months. I"m jealous, but congrats!

I wonder if its possible to get the 601 wheels without the Competition Package.

I'm not sure. I wanted the Comp package and the 601 wheels so I didn't even ask if that was a possibility.

I doubt you can, when you go to build one on the UK site. Comp pack is auto added when you select the 601 wheels or vice versa, but you cannot remove the comp pack and leave the wheels
